How to Handle Persistent Guy Smartly
So, the man across the dance floor has just sauntered over and said, "Haven't
I seen you before?" and you're stunned. But before you start blabbering the
first thing that comes to your head, here a few points worth remembering...
1) Show how much you're affected by his casual approach and you'll be in
trouble. So a deadpan expression is called for.
2) Once you've mastered that, think of smart replies beforehand. A pick-up line
is a pick-up line. One answer for many will do here.
3) If you've been eyeing him as well, and would love to meet him later, be
positive in your reply. You want him to get the hint, don't you?
4) Otherwise, move away. Just i-g-n-o-r-e him. And he'll get the message.
5) If he still persists, try being upfront about what you think of his attempts.
Most men will not override that.
6) If by the end of the evening, he tries again, maybe he's genuinely interested
in you... give him a thought.
